TASK
audio-visual target-detection task
This task pairs auditory and visual stimuli. Participants are asked to indicate when the paired stimuli are presented in synchrony, or to identify the locations of the stimuli among distracting visual and auditory information.

Task Indicators

Task records: 4

audiovisual perception
  • reaction time (to detect target) to one stimulus minus reaction time to paired stimuli

selective attention
  • accuracy without distractors minus accuracy with distractors

serial search
  • reaction time of participant minus average reaction time of controls

conjunction search
  • reaction time (to detect target) to one stimulus minus reaction time to paired stimuli
