Forking tasks is the process of separating the senses, or variations, in the meaning of a task.
This process should be used sparingly, and the ability to fork a term is the sole provenance of the curator.

A task in which participants are shown pictures of chimeric animals (such as a duck's head attached to a cow's body) and asked to name animal that the head belongs to while ignoring the identity of the body, or vice versa.
